XLIII Coffee at Cafe Show Vietnam 2026: Mapping Biodiversity in “A Cup of the World”
Cafe Show Vietnam 2026 returns with the theme “Inspiring the Coffee Journey.” At the XLIII Coffee pavilion, that journey promises to be an expedition into the heart of flavor, defined by genetic precision and authentic origin.
We believe specialty coffee is far more than a beverage for appreciation. Every green bean is a biological entity carrying millions of years of evolution – the intellectual intersection of a unique genome and the demanding variables of Terroir.
This year, XLIII Coffee presents the “Biodiversity Map.” Within “A Cup of the World,” we aren’t just showcasing unprecedented “exotic” flavors; we are revealing the entire truth behind them.
At XLIII Coffee, transparency is our core ethical cornerstone. This is materialized through our Transparency Tags, where every farm coordinate, Direct Trade price, and processing method is fully disclosed. We are here to prove a simple truth: The world’s best coffee must also be the world’s fairest coffee.

Featured Collections: A Trilogy of Origins
For Cafe Show Vietnam 2026, XLIII Coffee has restructured our 15-coffee portfolio into three “ideological territories.” This is where genetic heritage, microbial discipline, and human compassion converge to redefine the boundaries of authenticity.
Note: Several of these 15 masterpieces are making their global debut and will be available for purchase exclusively during the three days of the event.
The Nueva Alianza Identity – A Heritage Refined
We bring together the entire legacy of Cup of Excellence champion Dwight Aguilar Masías. This collection showcases incredible biodiversity within the same geographical framework of the Cusco region, Peru. We demonstrate “terroir clairvoyance” through rare species and distinct color spectrums:
-
The Legendary Gesha Lineage: Featuring Nueva Alianza Red Gesha #4729, Nueva Alianza Yellow Gesha #4730, Nueva Alianza Inca Gesha #4734 and the vibrant Nueva Alianza Orange Gesha #4737. Each color variant represents a unique biochemical code, from the classic elegance of the Red Gesha to the champagne-like effervescence of the Yellow, and the dense fructose structure of the Orange.
-
The Masterpiece Sidra – Nueva Alianza Sidra #4736: A highlight of our new arrivals, representing the pride of Peruvian innovation. Expect a complex flavor profile of blueberry and strawberry; this bean requires extreme precision in processing to protect its delicate esters.
- Heritage Powerhouses: Featuring the Nueva Alianza Maragogipe #4735 and Nueva Alianza Pacamara #4733 – the famous “elephant beans” known for their oversized mutations – alongside the clean, crisp Nueva Alianza Mejorado #4039. This group challenges the limits of Extremely Light Roasting to preserve the rustic identity of the Andes.
This collection allows aficionados to explore a profound sensory divergence, observing how identical genetics interact with microscopic variations in altitude and microclimate.
Human Values – Echoes of Resilience
This collection bridges the Nandi Hills of Kenya and the low clay soils of Kulai, Malaysia, telling a story of overcoming prejudice where coffee serves as a guardian of dignity and livelihood.
- Chepsangor Hills Estate #2491 (Kenya): A masterpiece from the Women in Coffee project. This represents the power of female expertise, where SL28, Batian, and Ruiru 11 varieties are refined through disciplined Anaerobic Washing, creating sharp yet balanced notes of red currant and black cherry.
- My Liberica Honey (Malaysia): A proud revival of a forgotten species. Through meticulous honey processing, My Liberica shatters old stereotypes of the Liberica variety, offering deep notes of wild honey and brownies on a rich Umami base.
This selection embodies a philosophy XLIII Coffee holds dear: When expertise and compassion meet challenging terrains, coffee transcends its status as a mere agricultural commodity – it becomes a manifesto for autonomy and cultural resurgence.
Contemporary Legends – The Pinnacle of Elite Auctions
For those seeking luxury in agronomic innovation, where the world’s most prestigious names meet at the perfect intersection of experimental science.
- Ninety Plus Yuzo (Panama): An icon of the “Rare Coffee” movement, nurtured by the Blue River and the proprietary Criolic™ processing method. Yuzo embodies the tranquility of jasmine and the sophistication of Japanese Yuzu citrus.
- Daterra Malemolência #1 (Brazil): Hand-picked from the 2025 Masterpieces Auction. A hybrid of the Guarani variety with a 62-hour anaerobic fermentation using indigenous yeast. It is a fluid “Samba” of flavors – honeydew melon and boozy cherry chocolate wrapped in a silky texture.
This category represents the absolute zenith of the industry – truly ‘Exotic’ lots backed by prestigious global auctions and avant-garde processing methods that disrupt every traditional convention.
Fincas Mierisch – The Duality of a Mountain
In the Rio Bonito region of Honduras, the Mierisch family has transformed the modest 22-hectare Santa Lucia estate into a massive “incubator” for champion-grade coffees. Here, we showcase an exquisite sensory contrast: two distinct flavor profiles emerging from the exact same Gesha variety, separated by a mere 200 meters:
- Santa Lucia Casona Gesha: The definition of eternal elegance. A masterpiece created through the advanced technique of grafting Gesha scions onto Robusta rootstock, delivering a clean, pristine structure with crystalline notes of jasmine and green tea.
- Santa Lucia Triangulo Gesha: The embodiment of a wild, avant-garde future. Cultivated under 10% denser shade, this lot concentrates Brix sugar levels to an extraordinary degree, bursting with the vibrant energy of lychee and rosehip.
This is a testament to the “science of the minute” (Precision Micro-management), where subtle technical adjustments create entirely opposing flavor universes.
Each selection highlighted above carries a complex biochemical profile and an inspiring human narrative. In our upcoming ‘Deep Dive into the Origin‘ series, XLIII Coffee will guide you through the intricate details of every variety, revealing exactly why they have earned their place in this year’s ‘A Cup of the World’ exhibition.

XLIII Coffee invites you to not just taste, but to participate in an artistic and scientific “flavor anatomy.”

A space designed for absolute precision. Guided by our specialists well-versed in sensory science, guests will learn to deconstruct the most delicate flavor layers.

– Direct Trade prices paid to the farmer (often significantly above market rates).
– Extremely Light roast profiles and post-processing biochemical markers.
– Detailed “Cupnotes” to guide your sensory journey.
- Networking & Consulting
For F&B operators and investors, we offer deep-dive consultations on specialty coffee supply chain solutions. XLIII Coffee acts as a Strategic Partner, sharing insights on Quality Control at the source and building portfolios based on Specialty Coffee 2.0 trends.
“Find the Future Origin”: A Call for Talent
At XLIII Coffee, we believe people are the most important “Terroir.” Just as a rare green bean needs specific conditions to shine, a coffee professional needs a deep, transparent environment to push their limits.
We are officially launching the “Find the Future Origin” project – a campaign to find potential collaborators who possess an infinite curiosity for sensory science.
Who are we looking for?
Thinkers who crave transparency and are ready to commit to the rigorous standards of Specialty Coffee 2.0. Whether you are a Barista looking to master roasting or a storyteller fascinated by genetics, we have a place for you. We offer Live Interviews directly at the booth during the three days of the show.
We look forward to meeting you at the heart of the authentic coffee experience!

Unveiling April Discovery Subscription: My Liberica Honey & My Liberica Anaerobic N20
Like a chronicle written in flavors, the Discovery Subscription does not rush to tell its entire story in a single touch. Instead, each chapter unfolds slowly, one after another, through the passage of time.
This April, the journey gently carries us to distant tropical lowlands, where tender warmth and humidity replace the chill of mist-covered peaks. Amidst the quietude of ancient forests and deep, heavy clay soils, a “paradox” begins to emerge – an invitation to explore depths that are seldom named.
